The Smart Grids Master Class
The first ever Smart Grids Master Class in the GCC was a resounding success as you would see in the the delegate feedback and pictures and here http://www.smartgrid-me.com/2012/10/11/learn-global-experts-network-regional-leaders/
For us every success means a bigger challenge to do it better the next time and exceed our own standards. After this success of 2012, The 2nd Annual Smart Grids GCC MasterClass 2013 will take place on Wed, 25 SEPTEMBER 2013, in conjunction with Power + Water Middle East 2013, the region’s premier event for showcasing power and water related products and services and held in partnership with Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA)
Based on a request from other countries, the Smart Grid Master Class will be conducted in more countries in Asia, Middle Eest and USA. Please stay in touch with us for dates and locations closest to you.
Facilitated by some the very best experts, technocrats and policy makers from US, Europe and Asia – the Master Class is your Smart move to equip yourself with all the knowledge on a continuous basis at a nominal cost.
The Master Class is a no non sense, neutral platform which will present a thread bare analysis of what a Smart Grid is all about, what it will change and how, what will be the resistance points and how to address those. None of the facilitators will pitch for any product or brand.
Thoughtfully planned at the same venue in partnership with the P+W ME, it gives the delegates a convenient opportunity to attend the class as also meet and network with local and international companies exhibiting at the event.
When you register for the MasterClass, you will be automatically registered as visitors to the exhibition and avoid the long queue for registering at the venue. Similarly all the exhibitors and visitors at the exhibition shall be entitled to a preferential attendance at the Master Class.
The TPS stand at the event will provide you a convenient and relaxed place to discuss further issues and view demonstration of some latest technologies in the subject.
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance and one Continuing Education Unit [CEU] issued by TS McDonald Associates USA.
The learning process will continue through this interactive web site where delegates can post questions, view presentations and share experiences on a continuous basis .
The Smart Grids GCC Master Class is brought to you by The Powerful Solutions – a business technical advisory sharply focused on bridging the knowledge gap in the Electrical Power and Energy sector.

GCC Power Scenario
The present demand of approximately 70 GW of electrical power in the GCC countries is expected to triple over the next 25 years. This is estimated to cost US$1.4 billion with the UAE contributing US$218 million.
Smart Grids GCC
Smart Grids will play a major role in managing both supply and demand side more efficiently. It has become almost an urgent regional priority to promise a sustainable electrical power supply for the economic, environmental, and societal needs in coming years.
